Default Player Ratings: Milan 3-1 Palermo

Player Ratings: Milan 3-1 Palermo
Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the show once more with a penalty and assist. Goal.com rates the players on show...

Christian Abbiati - Flop of the Match - (5.0)
Didn't have too much to do but dropped a couple of balls that he should have held but none cost his side. Poor decision making. Never looked confident at any point. Unsighted for the goal but could have done better.

Ignazio Abate (6.0)
Gets forward very well but his delivery was poor, he wasn't tested too much at the back either.

Mario Alberto Yepes (6.0)
A wall at the back, not allowing Pastore through but his distribution was not so good.

Thiago Silva (6.5)
Proved to be a defensive leader, had a good game and kept Pinilla at bay, even managed to get forward a couple of times as well.

Luca Antonini (6.0)
Was barely involved before the break. Had more life about him in the second half but he didn't rampage down the flank as he likes to do.

Kevin-Prince Boateng (6.5)
Bursting forward at every opportunity and being encouraged to shoot from range especially one from 30 yards that went just wide. But he gave the ball away too much in the second period.

Massimo Ambrosini (6.5)
Sat well and protected the defence, a little reckless in the tackle and his one forward contribution resulted in a penalty. Good stuff from the captain.

Mathieu Flamini (6.5)
Very busy and added some urgency the Milan midfield, ran from deep a couple of times and made sure Palermo didn't time to settle.

Clarence Seedorf (7.0)
Orchestrated his side in the first 45 minutes, dropping deep and spraying the ball round well. His delivery was outstanding for Pato's opener.

Alexandre Pato -Top of the Match- (7.0)
Brilliant header for first goal and good movement to himself free of his marker. Also showed some outstanding dribbling before being taken off injured.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (7.0)
Showed a few nice touches in the first half, but for me wasn't in the game at all. But as usual Zlatan steps up when he is needed to score a penalty then put Robinho in for the clincher.

• Substitutions
Marek Jankulovski (N/A)

Robinho (6.5)
Scored Milan's third but tried his best not to as it cannoned in off Sirigu, he also wasted a opportunity to put Ibrahimovic in for a fourth goal.

Filippo Inzaghi (6.5)
Brought on and lasted a matter of minutes before going off injured.
