Asked whether he felt the challenge undertaken in the change to Ducati was the toughest of his career to date, Burgess was
not so sure.
“I think the early days with Mick (Doohan) were probably as tough, Honda hadn’t won the Championship for a number of years,
and there was an expectation there in the early 90s that we should,” he explained. “In those years there was a lot of
pressure from Japan. I think I can handle that sort of pressure better now than I could back then, but I probably still
remember those years as the toughest. Ask me again in December!”
Ditanya bagaimana perasaan JB saat mengambil keputusan pindah ke ducati adalah saat yg paling menyentuh (sulit) selama
karirnya, JB tidak terlalu yakin.
Saya kira saat awal2 bersama Mick Doohan adalah yg paling sulit dilupakan (menyentuh), Honda sudah tidak menang kejuaraan
beberapa tahun, dan banyak/ besar sekali harapan yg harus kami penuhi di awal tahun 1990, Jelas JB. Dalam tahun2 tersebut
banyak/ besar sekali tekanan dari Jepang. Saya kira saya dapat mengatasi tekanan2 tersebut saat ini ketimbang tahun2 itu,
mungkin saya masih ingat tahun2 tersebut (1990-1994 sampai Doohan Juara) adalah yg paling sulit. Tanya saya lagi bulan
Desember 2011 ini.
TERNYATA BUTUH 4 TAHUN KERJASAMA JB DENGAN DOOHAN UTK MEMBUAT DOOHAN JUARA DUNIA,
BANDINGKAN DENGAN ROSSI??

2. 2 tahun berurut dgn Honda RCV211 990cc (2002-2003)
3. 2 tahun berurut dgn Yamaha M-1 990cc (2004-2005)
--> artinya hanya butuh 2 tahun dg Rossi, JB meraih 5X juara dunia berurut dengan 3 motor berbeda
4. Tahun 2007 bikin dan 2008-2009 juara dgn Yamaha M-1 800cc
5. Tahun 2011 gabung dengan Ducati, MAKANYA MINTA DITANYA DIBULAN DESEMBER 2011, BEDANYA SAAT AWAL DG DOOHAN DENGAN
ROSSI TAHUN 2011??? YG HANYA DITARGETKAN 2X MENANG??? KELIHATANNYA JB MAU NYOMBONG TUCH.... HEHEHEHEHEHE..
