We know Bardem is the villain, but before today knew little else. New information surfaced from the London set this weekend, in the form of a character name and a glimpse of the look Bardem will sport in the film.


The Daily Mail [via Bleeding Cool] posted these images, identified Bardem’s character as Silva, and promise that despite the police uniform, Bardem is “about to wreak havoc.” As far as I know, Silva is a new character. But my knowledge of the Bond mythology is very limited, so please correct any potential ignorance in the comments. I’ll let the British Brendon Connelly of Bleeding Cool explain the significance of the location:
